📺 Tv Series Review: The Head

A group of international researchers and highly skilled technicians have to spend 6 winter months in the South Pole, in order to pursue a research project that could possibly save millions of human lives.
But things don't proceed smoothly and almost as soon as the team is settled in the base, brutal and heinous murders begin, causing chaos within the team's members and leading each one of them to doubt the others.

My Opinion👍👎
The plot's review above has to be the shortest I've ever written on this column!
The storyline isn't fixed as it goes back and forth in time thanks to flashbacks from the protagonists and I think that, combined with the dark and sterile setting of the South Pole, helped a lot building and maintaining the suspense.

I was intrigued by the complexity of the characters: from their different backgrounds to the reasons why the joined the expedition, there's no distinguishing line between the 'good' and bad ones: they're all ambitious, running away from someone or hiding something.
Plus, it's always interesting to see how people behave when confined together in a delimited space and if you add all the restrictions they had to follow since they were 'blocked' in a desolated land...

Should you watch it?
Yes, if you like psychological thrillers and are curious about the competitiveness of the scientific world.
I actually enjoyed trying to figure out who the killer was and what was the motive behind these murders, my sister and I spent hours after each episode trying to solve the mystery.

My rating: 4/5
