📺 Here's Why You Should Watch GOT7's 'Hard Carry' Variety Show

GOT7 is a 7 member idol group from South Korea but has members from America, Hong Kong, and Thailand as well
They are one of the most famous groups globally and if you watch k-drama you might already know one of them, Jinyoung, from "He Is Psychometric" or "When My Love Blooms".
Anyway, the show takes its name from one of their songs and basically follows the members spending time together doing something fun or while they're busy promoting or touring in other countries.
There are four seasons of this show, shoot from 2016 to 2019: Hard Carry, Starcast: Hard Carry, Hard Carry 2, and 2.5.
I came to know this group and show thanks to some fanmade videos on YouTube and I found it therapeutic when I was in a 'down moment'. Here's how these 7 guys managed to do so.

MEMBERS ARE THE BEST AT SELF-PROMOTING...THEMSELVES
Whether they're touring or just filming missions and activities for the show, GOT7 members never fail to ask LITERALLY ANYONE if they know GOT7Especially Thai member BamBam and the youngest of the group Yugyeom: they seem to be on a special mission where they have to be sure that anyone who crosses path with them knows GOT7 exists.
It's just hilarious to see them get into a convenience store in Thailand or walking for the streets of Toronto and asks clerks or passerby 'Do you know GOT7?'

THE RANDOM WRITES THAT JUST SAY ANYTHING
If you watch Korean variety shows, you already know that every other second big, chunky, colorful writings will pop up on the screen. Of course, there are those in 'Hard Carry' as well, mainly describing the surroundings or the weather, but what makes me laugh are the ones that seem completely out of context.
what does this even mean??😂

ROCK-SCISSOR-PAPER...4 EVERYTHING!
This famous game is often used by GOT7 to decide who's going to wash the dishes, who's going to treat members with food, or just to kill time in the waiting room...Any moment is perfect for a match and the atmosphere, along with the members, gets hyped pretty fast.
The clip above is from Hard Carry 2, where the boys had a house all for themselves and made a bet: whenever they played rock-scissor-paper the loser would have to dive in the swimming pool.
It's impossible not to laugh and smile at them go crazy when they avoid the penalty.
Given how many times they play this game, there's NO WAY you won't learn how to say it in Korean...so it's a win-win: you laugh AND also learn something!

TEASING EACH OTHER WHILE BEING THE LOUDEST

Since their debut, GOT7 members formed a close friendship with each other but that doesn't necessarily mean they get along all the time. So how do they de-stress? By teasing each other (Youngjae is the primary target) and, generally, being the loudest in the room. They're like 7 brothers, threatening to hit or playing tricks to each other (watch Hard Carry 2 and you'll understand what I mean).

Thanks to all the jokes and lost rock-scissor-paper games, Hard Carry helped me to clear my mind and to regain a more positive mood. I like how silly, goofy, and extra they are and they brightened my dark days successfully.
"I love you" "No, you don't. Now. Move on." The best revenge is to … #fanfiction #Fanfiction #amreading #books #wattpad
