Iggy Azalea vs Blair Eadie

Aussie rapper Iggy Azalea was the first to take this colourful Elizabeth and James’s plush fur jacket on the red carpet for us to admire at the Jingle Ball concert last December.
Than we have American fashion blogger Blair Eadie, who wore the same coat but, while Iggy wore trousers and black pumps, she braved the cold and wore it early this January over a simple dress and styled it with black boots.

📖 Novel Of The Week - Look Who's Back by Timur Vermes

Today is International Holocaust Remembrance Day, where we remember all the victims that have been brought in concentrations/works camps by nazi' SS during World War II.
Not only Jews, but also gipsie, mentally and physically disabled people, homosexual men and whoever wanted to express his/her free opinion.

I don't want to minimize or ridiculize that terrible period, but with this satirical Novel of the Week, I wanted to lighten a bit the atmosphere.
Have you ever thought about what would happen if historical figures like Churchill, Stalin, Mussolini or Hitler woke up "magically" in the in the third millennium? How would they managed technologies (computers, smartphones, ecc...) and social changes?
Never gave a thought? Well, if you're doing it now, you'd probabily read Look Who's Back by Timus Vermes!

Get Their Look: Dior "So Real" sunglasses

It's no secret that I adore and admire Marion Cotillard' style...she's very elegant, chic and always event appropriate. Olivia Palermo' style instead is contemporary and trendy, moreover that's basically her job!

Lately the two of them have been spotted in different occasions with the same pair of sunglasses: I'm talking about Dior's "So Real" metallic sunglasses, which I deeply fell in love from the first moment I saw them!
Mirrored blue for Marion & Black for Olivia

Do you like them too? After some research, I found this website: and having a look to theirs opitions I found a very simil kind of Dior' sunnies!!

They are of a good quality PLUS their competitive prices make them a good alternative if you (like me, for now!) can't afford to by buy the Dior ones!

Which one do you like most?

Malin Akerman vs Olivia Munn

When I saw Olivia Munn at the premiere of "Mordecai", I immediately has a dejà vù on this dress! I thought "I must had seen it elsewhere, on Miley Cyrus maybe, that's her kind of dress!"
I was half right and half wrong: I already saw the dress, but not on Miley Cyrus....
This black Chad Ralph Rucci Fall 2013 sheer dress has been worn first on January 2014 by actress Malin Akerman at the 2014 InStyle and Warner Bros. Golden Globe Awards post-party and, a year later, by actress Olivia Munn wore the same dress at the L.A premiere of her latest movie "Mordecai", on January 21st.

2015 Academy Awards: My Winners

On January 16th , Oscar Nominees and Nominations have been announced! Like I did last year, I wanted to say my opinion on who should win (because, you know, I'm such an expert!) basing my picks on personal feelings BUT also on who's most likely to win...

Last year, I score 2 out of 8 (Best Animated Feature & Best Foreign Language Film), but one was Italian, so I would have picked it anyway!

So let's begin!

Best Picture :

American Sniper
The Grand Budapest Hotel
The Imitation Game
The Theory of Everything

Best Director:
Alejandro G. Iñárritu - Birdman
Richard Linklater - Boyhood
Bennett Miller - Foxcatcher
Wes Anderson - The Grand Budapest Hotel
Morten Tyldum - The Imitation Game

Best Actor in a Leading Role:
Steve Carell - Foxcatcher
Bradley Cooper - American Sniper
Benedict Cumberbatch - The Imitation Game
Michael Keaton - Birdman
Eddie Redmayne -

Best Actress in a Leading Role:

Julianne Moore - Still Alice
Rosamund Pike - Gone Girl
Reese Whiterspoon - Wild

Best Actor in a Supporting Role:
Robert Duvall - The Judge

Patricia Arquette - Boyhood
Emma Stone - Birdman
Laura Dern - Wild
Keira Knightley - The Imitation Game
Meryl Streep - Into the Woods

Best Animated Feature:

The Boxtrolls
Dragon Trainer 2
Song of the Sea
The Tale of Princess Kaguya

Best Foreign Language Film:
Ida - Poland
Leviathan - Russia
Tangerines - Estonia
Timbuktu - Mauritania
Wild Tales - Argentine

And now I want to explain why I made these choices!

I belive that the 87th Academy Awards cerimony will be heterogeneous: do you remember those editions were movie like “Titanic” or “Lord of the Rings” won it all?
I don’t think this will happen in this edition.

Movies like “The Theory of Everything”, “The Imitation Game” , “Boyhood” or “Birdman” will probably win something, but not everything they’re nominated for.

As much as I would love to see Benedict Cumberbatch with the golden statuette in his hands, I think Eddie Redmayne will win (au contraire, this will be the first time in my entire life I’d love to be wrong!).
Likewise for Best Actress in a Leading role: they were all spectacular and I really hope that Felicity Jones wins, but it will be Julianne Moore instead (which, of course, I don’t mind!).

These two categories were the hardest for me to choose, for the other I had no doubt! And now we only have to wait until 22nd of February to see if I'm right or wrong!

I'm curious....who are your winners?

Real winners in GREEN () updated on 23rd of February

#TTT - Top Ten Tuesday

Top Ten Tuesday is an original feature/weekly meme created at The Broke and the Bookish.
It was meant to be only for books BUT
I changed it a little bit so will be 5 books I want to read but don't own yet and 5 movies I'm planning to see PLUS it's going to be monthly not weekly.

What I've seen of the previously #TTTs:
The Theory of Everything

Chiara Ferragni vs Poppy Delevigne

Welcome back with 2015's first "Who Wore it Best" post!
I wanted to start big, so here's to you this amazing Chanel A/W 2014 dress, styled in to very different ways by two of last year's most famous socialite and fashion blogger.
Italian fashion blogger Chiara Ferragni was the first to show off this dress, matching it with sneackers and a messy low bun, as one of her outfits during Paris A/W 2014 Fashion Week last Septmeber.
London it-girl Poppy Delevingne wore the same dress, but she styled it with silver heels and side braid while attending MoMa's 2014 Film Benefit honors Alfonso Cuaron back in November.

I want to know your opinion, so tell me...

Golden Globes 2015: My personal Best Dressed

Last night, 11th of January, the 2015 Golden Globes Awards took place as usual at the Beverly Hilton Hotel in Beverly Hills.
I just saw the winner's list and I can tell there have been some surprises, like Joanne Froggatt winning as Supporting Actress in Series, Miniseries, or TV movie for her role in Downton Abbey (is it a complete shock and awesome news just for me?) and some confirmations, see Eddie Redmayne winning as Lead Actor in a Motion Picture (Drama).

But here I wanted to show which ones were my favorite looks of the evening...

Yesterday morning, in the beautiful Paris, at least two armed men entered the offices of French magazine Charlie Hebdo, a satirical magazine, which pubblished a few times satirical cartoons about Islam and prophet Muhammad.

They killed remorselessly 12 people and injured 11 more, 4 of which are in critical conditions.

I just wanted to say my condolences for the families of the killed and injured ones and for the whole France.

I' not theologian and I've not read neither the Sacre Bible, the Coran or the Torah, but I am sure that in no Sacred Text there's written to impose by force a faith upon another and to kill for it!

Movie Review: Magic In The Moonlight

Magic in the Moonlight (2014) by Woody Allen. With Colin Firth, Emma Stone, Simon McBurney and Eileen Atkins.

Woody Allen's latest movie take us once again in France, this time in the South Riviera.

As usual, scenografy, script and soundtrack are exceptional, so without further adds
here's the plot:
