📚 Korean Tv Series Review: Strong Girl Bong Soon (힘ėŽˆė—Žėž 도ëī‰ėˆœ)

Today's K-Drama is fairly new as it was first aired around this period last year. I wanted to watch it mainly because the story didn't look so dramatic and because Park Hyung-Sik is starring (I really liked him in High Society).
Here are my review and thoughts, let me know what you think, and if you watched it as well!
Дорама СилачКа До Бон Сун (Strong Woman Do Bong Soon)
Bong-Soon is a petite and naive young lady, with a very particular skill: she's strong. She has a superhuman strength thanks to a hereditary "curse" that passes from mother to daughter in her family. The only catch is that she cannot use this strength to harm innocents or for her own profit like it happened to her mother. Other than that, she's pretty normal, a bit dumb, let's say...
Her chance to become a videogame designer arrives when Ainsoft's CEO Min-Hyuk accidentally witness her power against a gang of thugs that were threatening a bus driver. Min-Hyuk has been receiving life threats by a mysterious person, who doesn't want him to take on his father's company and after seeing what Bong-Soon can do, he hires her as his bodyguard
The deal is that if she manages to keep him safe and to help him catch the perpetrator of those threats, she'll have a shot at working in the planning department.
Their relationship develops real quickly, also thanks to a few misunderstandings, and it's funny to see how they tease each other!
At the same time, in Bong-Soon's neighborhood, a serial kidnapper makes a few women disappear and Bong-Soon friend (who's also her unrequited love interest) detective Kook-Doo is on the case. When Bong-Soon's closest friend gets kidnapped as well, she steps in and tries to track down the man who did it and that's the start of a personal game of strength between the two of them, where every method is valid.

My Opinion👍👎
I'm not going to lie: 3/4 of this series are frivolous, not to say demential. Some secondary characters are pretty stupid caricatures, their purpose is to give a light and 'not-so-serious' print to the story...But of course, this is supposed to be a "drama" so the thrilling/dramatic element is waiting around the corner and BAM! during the last three/four episodes the plot gets really serious, a full immersion of suspense, in a loop of ups and downs.

I have to be honest, this series would have been much better if they skipped parallel stories and characters, you get tired of them pretty quickly.
You can say is similar to the "American Pie" franchise or "The Interview" with James Franco and Seth Rogen, but some scenes are hilarious and actually quite funny, plus the actors are really good in portraying their characters: it mustn't be easy to pretend to be that careless or naive.

What I liked the most was the overall message of helping who's in disadvantage if you're stronger than them.
