from paper to Disney to live-action movies: here the news!

Thanks to the great success of  Tv serie "Once Upon A Time" in this last couples of years we have been witnesses of quite a few movie adaptations of the classic Disney's cartoon...
Back in 2012 we have had TWO adaptations of "Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs": one with Lily Collins, Julia Roberts and Armie Hammer called "Mirror Mirror" and then "Snow White and the Huntsman" with Kristen Stewart and Chris HemsworthCharlize Theron.

It's not finish!! During all the 2015 other big narration classics/Disney cartoons will be brought to real life...at least, cinematically speaking.

March 2015 - Cinderella
Maybe the most famous and loved princess of all, Cinderella will have the face of Lily James, best know as Downton Abbey's Lady Rose MacClarePrince Charming will be portrayed by none other than Richard Madden (Robb Stark in the famous TV series "Game of Thrones")....but the real WOW factor is that Helena Boham Carter will be....the Fairy Godmother!!!

October 2015 - The Jungle Book
This version of Kipling's novel is only in pre-production and yet already full of amazing actors/actresses who will lend their voices to the famous animals, while the only human character will be portrayed by 10 years old Neel Sethi, on his first on-screen experience. Bill Murray will be Baloo and Christopher Walken will be King Louie, the monkey's leader. Then we have Giancarlo Esposito/Akela, wolf's leader. Idris Elba/ Shere Khan, Scarlett Johansson/Kaa, Lupita Nyong'o/Raksha and Ben Kingsley/Bagheera.

Another remake of Beauty and The Beast is also coming out next year, or at least is set to be...In the meantime you can enjoy the French live action adaptation La belle et la bête with Vincent Cassel and Léa Seydoux.

To mention is Into The Woods, a fantasy/comedy where a witch wants "to to teach important life lessons to various characters of popular children's stories including Little Red Riding Hood, Cinderella, Jack and the Beanstalk and Rapunzel." according to imdb.com

Last but not least, rumors want Robert Downey Jr. as a candidate to portray Pinocchio in the upcoming reboot, even if there's not a confirmation yet. Anyway, I belive we'll see it in 2016.
