πŸ“Ί Korean Tv Series Review: Lovestruck in the City (λ„μ‹œλ‚¨λ…€μ˜ μ‚¬λž‘λ²•)

Park Jae-won and Yoon Seon-A meet while they're both on a holiday in Thailand and they start to like each other almost instantly: Jae-won is very honest and straightforward about his feelings for Seon-A, while she's a bit more carefree and elusive.
They planned to spend two months together before going back to Seoul, but Jae-won has to leave early due to some work-related problems.
They promise to meet on a certain day at Cheonggyecheon, a famous spot in the city for people to meet. But when the day comes, Seon-A doesn't show up, leaving a weird messenger on Jae-won's voice mail...

One year passes and Jae-won is still obsessing about what went wrong with Seon-A, causing his cousin (and co-worker) Kyeong-Jun to worry a lot.
Little he suspects that his cousin and his longtime girlfriend Rin-i hang out with Seon-A nearly on a daily basis...

Seon-A real name is actually Lee Eun-O and she's a freelance marketer who lives and works in a small rooftop apartment with her childhood friend, Kang Geon, a novelist who's been voluntarily single for the past couple of years.

My OpinionπŸ‘
The series is composed of 17 episodes, 30 minutes each and they literally fly by, I was so surprised when I finished the last episode!
All stereotypes are inversed here as the female characters act like what is commonly perceived as a male way of behaving; we have Seon-A, a free-spirited young woman who seems to take nothing seriously and just go with the flow, following the mood of the moment.
There's Oh Seon-Yeong, who's very passionate and opinionated on how she wants her relationships to be while her ex-boyfriend Kang Geon still can't get over their break up two years prior.
To be honest, the aspect that moved me more was the beautiful friendship Seon-A/Lee Eun-O shares with Rin-i and Kang Geon; the three of them are really close, I loved how they are always there for each other and have their traditions which outsiders can't comprehend.

As for the love relationships, they were loud and funny, sometimes sad and with serious plot twists, but overall they portrayed how they could potentially be so I found them quite believable.

Some attitudes were too extra, but that's a must in k-drama so I didn't pay much attention to them. It was also an interesting directional choice to make it like the six characters are being interviewed by some journalists and talk to one another through those interviews.
