πŸ‘˜ [Japanese Week] πŸ“Ί Japanese Tv Series Review: Goodbye Ghosts! (γŠθΏŽγˆγƒ‡γ‚Ή)

Tsutsumi Madoka is an engineering University student, has a passion for rockets, and has to find a logical explanation for everything...so when, all of a sudden, he starts to see ghosts he's completely taken aback and think he might be gone crazy.
One day he sees a giant pink rabbit and starts to stare at it; the rabbit seems surprised to be recognized and tells Madoka that it actually is a Shinigami (an Angel of Death): he has to help people go to the afterlife quietly within 49 days from their death date or they will transform into evil spirits.

His name is Nabeshima, works along with a young Shinigami girl named Yuzuko and he wears the bunny costume to reassure the ghosts he has to escort.

Given Madoka's special ability, Nabeshima offers him a part-time job: to find and help ghosts with whatever their 'grudge' might be the doesn't make them leave Earth.
Madoka doesn't properly agree, he gets dragged into a 'mission' by his 'mentor', a girl named Aguma Sachi, who has been working with Nabeshima and  Yukuzo for quite a while.
Helping ghosts with their regrets proves to be quite a challenge as sometimes their issues are easy to resolve while other ghosts just don't want to leave and can become a treat to both Madoka and Sachi.

My OpinionπŸ‘πŸ‘Ž
You as 'Saint Oniisan', 'Omukae Desu' is also based on a manga Meka Tanaka and was first aired on Japanese TV back in 2016.
Each episode starts in a chilled/silly way but becomes more and more serious as the story develops.
The topics are, indeed, grave and I think the scrip has been written well to make those topics justice while keeping a light approach.

Madoka and Sachi are hilarious and their interactions are the same since their characters are the complete opposite: while Madoka is all about logic and his very serious, Sachi is more impulsive and open-minded.

The viewer must be that as well (open-minded) when starting this series because it switches from being comic to serious multiple times, plus it can be a bit cartoony at times.
The overall series is entertaining, you should really go for it if you feel like watching something easy, funny, and of course, if you enjoy the paranormal theme.
