As you can see, I managed to recover many arrears because I've been quarantined the whole month of March (and probably will be in April as well) and so I occupied the large amount of free time I had between house cleaning (it is shiny, not to brag!) and movie/Tv series watching and book reading...you always have to focus on the bright side!
MOVIES
● Knives Out - my review HERE
● Light of my Life - this one was the first movie written and directed by Casey Affleck I've ever watched and, even though it was well-acted and the scenography was majestic, it alternated infinite moments of silence and calm with quick moments of sheer panic and hectic which is not exactly my cup of tea...I'd recommend it to people who have already watched 'Manchester by the Sea' and are familiar with Affleck's directorial style.
● Dark Waters - very similar to "Erin Brockovich" because of the topic, the fact that the movie is based on real events gave me serious goosebumps! It's heart-warming to know that there are people out there that are willing to go above and beyond for a right cause...
A must-watch, no doubts!
● Aladdin - at first I couldn't believe Guy Ritchie was the director, but some details are just his style (enlarging Jago for the chase scene? That could only be him!). I liked this live-action remake, I found it modern and yet similar to the original animation, the cast is phenomenal, and the balance between storytelling and songs was perfect!

Top Ten Tuesday is an original feature created at The Broke and the Bookish. It was meant to be only for books, BUT I changed it a little bit so it will be 5 books I want to read and 5 movies I'm planning to watch. PLUS it's going to be monthly and not weekly.

Wow! You have accomplished so much more than I have recently! I am intrigued to know what you think of Long John Silver. Stay well! :)
