In a 2005 Italian movie, one of the characters was firmly convinced that "airports are the place where people do their best"...Well, in this series you'll witness people at their best and worst, while the protagonists try either to stand out or to fit in.
Incheon International Airport in Seoul is the set of Lee Soo Yeon and Han Yeo Reum's stories, with both of them working for the Passenger Service team. While the first is a quiet, resolute, and organized employee, Yeo Reum is completely opposite: she has a cheerful personality and, even if with the best intentions, can't help but put herself into trouble.
Yeo Reum is a lovely girl who's goal is to become a valuable member of the airport's staff, but she has some problems with following the protocol and often ends up making hilarious mistakes. Soo Yeon is the calm, rational one and that's why Passenger Service manager decides to pair them up.
When the entire team is transferred to Terminal 2, Soo Yeon will meet someone from his past, who once was very close to him but now appears to be up to something shady. Even if he wants to keep a low profile, eventually he'll get involved, risking to expose his own secret.

The series combines elements of ordinary reality with sci-fi and...they work so good!
Soo Yeon somehow reminds me of characters like DC's Cyborg or Will Smith in "I, Robot" and I'm a sucker for the genre.
The lightness of the story and the cuteness of the romance that blooms between the characters was exactly what I needed to balance the darkness of "Hundred Million Stars From The Sky", I was really looking forward to the new episodes every week. It's a funny, half carefree half-serious drama, I just wished the finale wasn't that rushed...
The actors are all outstanding, but my favorite character is Mr. Lee, from the Transportation Service: he doesn't speak much and it could seem his main occupations are drinking tea and use tools for neck massages, but he's actually a very observant person and once he steps in things get fixed!
