🎄 Novel of the Week [Christmas Edition]: The Christmas Sisters by Sarah Morgan

Hannah, Beth and Posy McBride are coming home for Christmas!...Well, tecnically just Hannah and Beth, which live in New York, while Posy lives in the cottage nearby her parents', in the Scottish Highlands.

Hannah would prefer avoiding going home, it rises painful memories she has been trying so hard to bury, but an unexpected event in her highly planned life makes her change her mind and jump on an airplane earlier than expected.
Beth has been an housewife for the past 7 years and she's more than ready to go back to work...the offer for a PR position from her latest monster boss will turn her family's routine upside down, while Posy dreams of leaving home seeking adventures, climing mountains all around the world. But she's torn about her parents expectations and their plan for her to take on the cafè they own...

Suzanne is excited to have all the girls under the same roof and she'll do anything to make this the perfect Christmas, even if time of the year is a sad one for her, due to an accident that accured 25 years ago, but thankfully she has the full support of her lovely husband, Stewart.
Will these memories make or break her family once and for all?

👍👎My Thoughts
Two people scream "Christmas" to me and they are Michael Bublè (who singing in background right now, BTW) and Sarah Morgan. It has been a few years now that every winter I read AT LEAST one of her novels, so when I saw the cover of this new one I knew I had to read it...right away!
She just has this way with words that perfectly describe the situation in the most simple yet effective way, plus her stories are always realistic yet original so it's difficult to put down the book once you've started it.

I loved all three Christmas Sisters because they share the same fears and worries that all of us do at some point of our lives, but I didn't rate the book a perfect 10 because I didn't like the escamotage used to make one of them confess her true feeling (if you read the book, you know who I'm talking about!)...but that's just a personal taste, I'd still reccomend the book to everyone!

My vote: 8½/10
