Cure it with Movies/Books: Mom Drives You Crazy

Moms (and families in general) are the most important people of your life...they will love you unconditionally and always will stand at your side, but let's face it! Sometimes moms are the ones who drive you crazy!!

My mom favourite phrases are: "Why are you dressing like that? It's so old style!", "Why you're not going out tonight?"(when I'm studying for an exam), "You came home too late last night, that's not good!"(when I'm on holiday) and my favourite of all: "Sweetie, I love you and you're beautiful anyway but...please! Put on some mascara!"

If you can relate with those lines, here's my list of movies&books to help you laught about it...

MOVIES
Because I Said So Movie Poster
Because I Said So (2007) by Michael Lehmann. A lovely comedy on how handle an overprotective mother. Reccomended to all those who loves their moms, but simply can't stand their constantly presence and advises. With Diane Keaton and Mandy Moore.
Freaky Friday (2003) by Mark  Waters. This comedy with Jamie Lee Curtis and Lindsay Lohan is perfect if you fight with your mom for everything (even if you later understand it was a silly thing).
My Sister's Keeper Movie PosterExtra Large Movie Poster Image for Spanglish (#1 of 3)
Spanglish (2004) by James L.Brooks. Perfect if you feel that your mom cares too much of anyone else but not you and when, besides to family's problems, language is another obstacle. What a mother wouldn't do for her daughter's future.
My Sister's Keeper (2009) by Nick Cassavetes. Another example of a fighting mom, who simply doesn't want to give up over her eldest daughter's disease.
