I sometimes made the mistake to think that World War II-related movies are all the same and every time I found myself in error.
Here's my list of movies and books t watch and read on this special day. #WeDon'tForget
MOVIES
Giorgio Cantarini and Horst Buchholz. This is one of the most touching and meaningful movies about what Jews have suffered in the concentration camps.
It won 4 Academy Awards (Best Music, Original Dramatic Score, and Best Foreign Language Film. Benigni also won Best Actor for his role.)
The Book Thief (2013) by Brian Percival. With Emily Watson, Geoffrey Rush, Sophie Nélisse, Ben Schnetzer, and Nico Liersch.
Based on the novel of the same name by Markus Zusak.
This is just a small list of the most famous and renowned movies and books about Nazi concentration camps, so excuse me if I left out a lot of them.
Train of Life (1998) by Radu Mihaileanu. With Lionel Abelanski, Clément Harari and Michel Muller.
