Felicity Miner works in a book shop in the quite town of Pine Valley and her life runs just fine: she recently moved into her grandparent's house, has found herself a great first friend so she has nothing to complain about...
When, one day someone comes into the shop and steals a book, Felicity tries to run after him, but eventually has to stop and calls the police. That's how she met officer Leonardo 'Leo' Russo, who looks like he jumped right out from the book Felicity just started reading...
From something as work related as this, Felicity and Leo's relationship will quickly grow stronger and they'll both play a huge part in being there for each other when some terrible news will hit them...

👍👎My Thoughts
You know those chilly autumn Sunday afternoons, when you have nothing planned and no idea of what to do? I have the solution for you: read this book! It's the perfect clean romance that will help you switch off reality for a few hours (it's a very quick read, 3 days tops!).
The story may look like it's just two people meeting and falling in love, but Felicity's background and personality are big obstacles and Leo himself has some 'emotional luggage' from his disastrous previous relationship, so things aren't going on the easy way.
My vote: 7/10

For the first time, I sympathized more with the male character instead of the female, because Felicity is so one-sided about her independence and her life style that she would stubbornly stick to it rather than give Leo a proper chace. And the humour in all of this is that SHE LIKES HIM, so I've had hard times trying to like her...
Sympathies aside, this book has a lot of dept and plot twists that well balance with the romance part, which make it enjoyable to a wide rager of readers. Supporting characters are also interesting and, as often happens to me, I fell for Felicity's best friend, Livvy: she's so charismatic and funny, it's impossible not to root for her!
My vote: 7/10
