Academy Awards 2019: My Best Dresses

On Sunday, 24th of February, took place the 91th edition of the...OSCARS!! I'm so happy about all the winners, expecially "Green Book" as Best Picture! If you want to have a look to who I thought was going to win and how many of them I scored right, check HERE.

The Oscar's red carpet is probably the most famous and let's take a look of some of the gowns of the evening...

Here's to you my personal best dressed of the 2019 Academy Awards.

Glenn Close in Carolina Herrera & Helen Mirren in Schiapparelli Haute Couture

Constance Wu in Atelier Versace & Michelle Yeoh in Elie Saab Haute Couture

Laura Harrier in Louis Vuitton & Marina de Tavira in J.Mendel

Billy Porter in Christian Siriano & Kacey Musgraves in Giambattista Valli Haute Couture

Speaking in total honesty, I found this edition's gowns and dresses beautiful, yet they missed the 'WOW' factor...The only exception can be made for Billy Porter, but it's memorable because is unusual to see a man wearing a dress on the red carpet...same dress on a lady would have been good, but not so mention worthy. Anyway, I loved that there were many Haute Couture pieces and most of them were colourful and rich in details.

So, this beautiful ladies (and man) were my choice as Best Dress at the 2019 Academy Awards.
