📺 NCT '24hr RELAY CAM' Second Season

The boys are back and this time around is all 23 of them! 

I've already reviewed NCT 127 Relay Cam HERE, two years have passed and the group added two new members, Shotaro from Japan and Shunchang, who's Korean.

Given the ongoing worldwide pandemic, this season we get to see how each member spent his time at home and it might not come as shocking that they mainly watched TV, ate and played videogames.

This year's Relay Cam is a great way to get to know all members a bit better, I was especially curious about the newest members as well as the other units' members since I mainly follow NCT 127.

Their activities were various, but they can be categorized in:

● the eating club

From WayV's Lucas, Yangyang, Xiaojun, and Winwin to Dream's Jisung, they showed their favorite activity: cooking and eating. 

Poor Jaemin, he ordered some tea at the beginning of his time slot and still didn't receive it after one hour...that was actually hilarious, you could feel his struggle. He was actually one of the most original as he showed how he edits the photos he takes; nothing fancy, but still interesting.

● the players

Mark, Jungwoo, Taeil, Haechan from 127, and Hendery from WayV either played a soccer match on the PlayStation (or Xbox, it's not clear) or had a round of a shooting game on the pc. 

Hendery didn't even try and started talking directly in Cantonese, because you either focus on the game or on the language...priorities.

● the sleepyheads

These were the ones who got the most hideous hours, from 4 am onwards: Xiaojun, YangYang, and Winwin along with Doyoung, Taeil, and Taeyong have been unlucky with their timeslots and had really hard times fighting sleepiness away. 

We also got a glimpse of the fandom's favorites: WayV's pets! 

Since there are 23 members but 24 hours is a day, someone had to do a two hours relay cam and that happened to be Ten...who is a sucker for his cats so what we got has been him playing, feeding, and training the cats. 

It really made me laugh how Lucas managed to appear in almost all of WayV's relay cams...and the ones he wasn't in was because it was too late and he was sleeping!

We also got the 'artistic' squad: Yuta and Renjun showed their passion for drawing and painting, while newbie Shungchang decorated his sneakers. 

● the talkative ones

Jaehyun watched some Netflix and gave a few making movie recommendations, while Haechan, Jeno, Xiaojun, and Winwin took some time talking about the changes in their lives because of the quarantine. 

All of them were obviously a bit frustrated because they couldn't show how they would spend their day off in normal circumstances, but they tried to make the best out of the situation.

Speaking of which, there is one last category and it is the one of ...

● the outsiders

Some members filmed themselves outside their dorm, but still inside a building...Kun, Shunchang, and Shotaro were at their company's and filmed themselves while either working on their own music or practicing. 

Jhonny went to a hair salon to dye his hair; his was one of the funniest video because he's such a character and kept on chatting with the staff, making them laugh and brightening up the mood.

NCT's leader Taeyong closed the relay cam series showing himself in the hair and makeup room, getting ready to go on set.

Yes, the second season of NCT '24hr RELAY CAM' hasn't been as active and to be completely honest it was a bit subdued, but the members tried their best to be as entertaining as they could and, on the other hand, all 23 members got the chance to show a different side of their personalities...or confirm them!
