📺 Korean Tv Series Review: High Society (상류사회)

It has been a while since my last Korean Drama review and I'm so happy to restart with this 2015 TV Series named "High Society", also known as The Privileged
Besides being the funniest KDrama I've watched so far, it's a revisiting of the well-known tale "Prince and the Poor", money and love are the main themes and you'll eventually end up waiting for the supporting couple scenes more than the main couple one, they're so cute and completely opposite!
Jang Yoon Ha is a chaebol's daughter (meaning she comes from a wealthy family), but isn't interested in the family business and is seeking for her independence from them by working part-time in a food market with her friend Lee Ji Yi, who thinks she's of a poor family just like Ji Yi is.
At the same time, their lives cross path with the ones of Yoon Ha and Ji Yi’s manager, Choi Joon Ki (portrayed by Sung Joon, which was also in another KD I've been watching and reviewed, "Lie To Me"), a very ambitious young man, and his close friend and boss Yoo Chang Soo, heir of the food market where the two girls work.
Yoon Ha goes to a blind date with Chang-Soo but isn't interested in marrying somebody to strengthen her social position, so she rejects him, witnessed by Joon Ki as well.
Eventually, the four of them meet again at the food market; Joon Ki pretends not to know who Yoon Ha is and start to get close to her...at the same time Chang-Soo shows interest in Ji Yi, whom, on the other hand, isn't impressed by his wealth and that's new to him...
Jang Yoon Ha lives a difficult situation at home: her mother blames her for her unhappiness, her father has a bad temper and Yoon Ha's older sister and brother are fighting over the company's Vice President position.
Yoon Ha starts to rely on Joon Ki and eventually falls in love with him; he as well begins to feel something, but the young man has also a secret agenda...

My Opinion👍👎
This series has been really fun and enjoyable to watch, the screenplay is very well written, it mixes love and family/business problems equally so that you never get stuck too much on the same theme.
It is difficult to say which couple I liked the most, because of their troubles, doubts, and funny dialogues make it hard to pick a side.
The female protagonist's outfits are stylish, elegant but young, and very eye-catching. If you want something fun, but not foolish and with some great love declarations, well...this KDrama is what you need to watch!
